Mentally Strong Personalities

Mentally Strong Personalities

At some point , as you know that most of the people in their lives, has experienced failure. What defines you is not your failure, but how you get back up after being hit. That matters.
Here is the failure-to-success story of a great personality. I am sure, that will definitely inspire you on one of those days when you have just given up hope.

Dr.Glenn Cuningham, ran the world’s fastest mile.

Mr. Cuningham, he was caught in a fire accident in his school when he was young and it was assumed that he would not live.
Even, if he were to survive, he would be a cripple throughout his life. As his lower half of his body was unable to work. But this boy did not want to die nor did he want to be a cripple. But unfortunately his thin legs just dangled. Finally, he was discharged from hospital. But his determination to walk was amazing. He was almost confined to a wheelchair. But one day, he threw himself from the chair and pulled himself across the grass, dragging his legs behind him. He did this everyday, with
Faith in himself that he would be able to walk unaided. With his will power, and determination, he did develop the ability to stand up, then to walk by himself and then to run. Later in college he made the track team. In February 1934, in New York city’s famed Madison Square Garden, this young man, Dr. Glenn Cunningham, ran the world’s fastest mile.

Steve jobs

Friends, Steve Jobs who was the CEO of one of the world’s
most innovative technological companies . And he was a co –
founder of Apple Computer Inc. Unfortunately, he was facing
pancreatic cancer. He did fight , and go on, and do the things he
wanted to do. He said that no matters what happens in your life-
struggles in school or an unsuccessful career path- every aspect
will somehow help you down the road. Again, you can’t connect
the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking
backwards , “ he said, “ so you have to trust that the dots will
somehow connect in your future . You have to trust in something
– your gut , destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has
never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
